While several weeks remain before harvest begins, current indicators suggest a North American crop that is trending closer to historical averages. Expected volumes are nevertheless projected to be below those of the past two harvests, which were exceptionally large in several production areas. On a global scale, cranberry production could also be slightly lower than last year.

Organic cranberry fields are currently showing good potential and are in generally healthy condition. However, pressure from certain pests remains an important factor to monitor closely in the coming weeks. While it is still too early to draw conclusions regarding final volumes, growing conditions to date have generally been favorable.
