Since the very beginning, Fruit d'Or has always had a profound respect for nature, people and communities. We continue to believe in the power of sustainability and the importance of striving to always be better.
That is why we are thrilled to announce the launch of our Sustainable Development Plan. The fruit of extensive work carried out by our 12 guardians of sustainability, this ambitious plan is a clear testament to our dedication to leaving our world a better place for upcoming generations.
In the winter of 2024, we held in-depth consultations with all stakeholders in our value chain: employees, board members, customers, suppliers, growers, distributors, wholesalers, research centres, certifying bodies, and industry associations. These consultations were conducted to help us prioritize our sustainable development strategies based on their vision and concerns.
The result? A tangible and achievable Sustainable Development Plan that started in September and will continue through to 2026. It is based on three pillars: caring for nature, caring for people and caring for communities. Each pillar has its own set of concrete actions and KPIs. Aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), they represent areas of impact where we can truly make a difference.

Each extra day we wait to ensure crops are harvested at peak ripeness. Each minute saved between field and freezer. Each berry perfectly preserved. Each unwanted substance detected and eliminated.
